Fall is my favorite season of all. Where I live, in sunny California, the second it cools down, I swing the door open to my classroom and have it open all day! I love having students sitting outside working or just seeing the red and orange leaves drop from the trees. Butttt let's talk about fun Fall time activities you can do in your classroom THIS week!
Place Value Pumpkins
Learning the "value of the underlined" digit has been tough for my students so I made a quick and easy refresher for them for the fall time. It's a quick and easy {FREEBIE} that you can use as a test, a refresher, or just a fun activity in centers.

Halloween Write the Room
This spooky Write the Room helps students identify and begin to learn how to write, spell, or honestly...just have fun walking around the room while doing a Halloween activity. I loved to hide these cards around the room. *Think hiding on the TV or the ceiling tiles*
Halloween Writing Paper
You can use these writing papers to have students talk about their Halloween costume, what they're most looking forward to in October, or just let their creative minds go and write whatever they feel like. I used to print out a few different pages and have them in stacks for my students to pick and choose what paper they wanted. Sometimes giving them the option let's them get excited about writing!
You'll receive secondary lined paper, primary lined paper (full page), and primary lined paper (half page with writing lines).
Farm Writing Paper
I always do a farm/apple unit in October or November when my students take a field trip to our local pumpkin patch. We discuss lifestyle of animals, life cycle, and we also read Charlotte's Web (my favorite chapter book to read to my students). These writing papers are perfect for a research paper, class book about their favorite animal, or to practice writing sentences (with a fall theme).
